Combining Acupressure with Yoga Poses enables the life energy to flow through our bodies more freely, nourishing all the internal organs and improving our over-all health and well being while strengthening core muscles at the same time.

Kathi designed this particular series with emphasis on the Bladder and Kidney Meridians. The Bladder Meridian regulates the back, neck, buttocks, backs of the legs and outsides of the feet. It is also responsible for regulating fluids in the body. The Kidneys have long been considered the storage tanks of the body, gathering up energy and storing it for future use. For this reason, the Kidney Meridian is responsible for developing stamina. Reproductive Energy is produced in the Kidneys, which is why so many women have found relief of Menopausal and Post Menopausal symptoms through balancing the Kidney Meridian.

 

In this DVD we begin with a couple of Sun Salutations to get your blood circulating.

The following Yoga Poses are also included:

  • A seated version of Cat/Cow
  • A rolling exercise to massage the back muscles
  • A Modified Tortoise (forward bend)
  • Plow with a rocking motion to reduce stress

Deep Relaxation or Yoga Nidra is about 5 minutes long and ends with brisk rubbing of your palms and the soles of your feet and then using the warmth generated in the hands for a lovely kidney massage.
